In 2017, Claire and her partner Mike purchased a holiday cottage in the village of Wensley, conveniently close to home. With busy careers and family commitments, they needed a company to manage the cottage for them. Claire was surprised by the limited options available, so she decided to take matters into her own hands, enlisting the help
In 2017, Claire and her partner Mike purchased a holiday cottage in the village of Wensley, conveniently close to home. With busy careers and family commitments, they needed a company to manage the cottage for them. Claire was surprised by the limited options available, so she decided to take matters into her own hands, enlisting the help of a cleaner.
Before long, a neighboring cottage owner approached Claire for assistance with her property, followed by a property investor with three cottages who sought her help as well. Recognizing the potential for growth, Claire founded The Welcome Team. Our mission is simple: to ensure every guest receives a warm welcome.

We understand that a holiday cottage requires much more than just cleaning. That’s why we refer to our staff as "Housekeepers." They ensure your property is fully prepared for guests, which includes checking light bulbs, testing alarms, and much more.

We also take our environmental responsibilities seriously. To reduce our carbon footprint, all equipment in our new laundry has been selected for efficiency, utilising state-of-the-art heat pump technology. Our premises are designed to be low carbon, and we continually seek opportunities for further improvement. We are very proud to be holders of the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark
